Construction Resources, the luxury home materials, appliances, and fixtures supplier needed a new landmark showroom at the intersection of Peachtree Street and Roswell Road, the epicenter of the burgeoning Buckhead Design District. Our task was to combine five separate tenancies, connect two separate buildings that are close to 100 years old, and create an elegant, united façade to showcase the wonderous designs available to clientele. Throughout our research and peeling away the decades of previous tenants, we discovered exiting relics as well as some suspect historical building practices. Ultimately, many of our more tactical interventions will never be seen, only the beautiful space and products will shine through.
